Proton Cars has announced the appointment of Bob Hall to the position
of Vehicle programs integrator with responsibility for overseeing the
co-ordination planning of all of the companyÕs new model programs
reporting directly to the CEO.
Mr Hall will be based at the companyÕs headquarters in Kuala Lumpur
working with program managers to ensure the integrity and co-
ordination of each of the new model lines and advanced products
A native of the USA Mr Hall brings a store of expertise and knowledge
in the automotive industry including many years with Mazda where we
worked on the development of many models including the MX5 sports
car.
Educated at UCLA Hall spent 12 years working on many of the worldÕs
best-known automotive magazines including Motor Trend and
Automotive News before joining MazdaÕs product development
operation in California.
He emigrated to Australia in 1993 where he worked as the news editor
of Wheels Magazine in Australia using his encyclopaedic knowledge of
car development and the industry to unlock the secrets behind many
spy photos and new models.
According to Proton Cars CEO Tengku Mahaleel the appointment of Mr
Hall is part of the companyÕs strategy to utilise International expertise
to ensure products.
